[Help] Heat up factor for Alluminum alloy solution heat treatment in Continuous furnace

       Would you please kindly share how to define the heat up factor for Aluminum which is solution heat treated in continuous furnace?

Is there any relationship between the heat up factor and the furnace speed?

Who can share any information for the heating up factor or how to define the total time in the continuous furnace when performing the solution heat treatment?

But there isn't any feedback about this question.

Maybe I didn't make myself understood.

I think it should be right that the faster the furnace speed is, the greater the heat up factor is.

It's my fualt.

I forgot the heating up factor was not a commen defination for HT.

We define the heat up dactor as: heating up factor= heating up time / plate thickness

(Heating up time means the time needed to reaching soaking time from the plate entring the continous furnace)

You shall define 'heat up factor' in your procedure.
As I know, it is not always called this name.

Then some tests are needed for the defination of heat up factor.
Of course, the different thickness and load shall also be considered.
I think you can select or define several load situations, and gather applicable heat up factors. Then define the different factors summarised through the tests.
And the operators can follow the work instrustructions.

Now we defined the new heat up factor based on several tests.
