Tempered Sorbite 回火索氏体

The terms of Sorbite and Troostite have long been obsolete, for decades, since the invention of SEM. They are nothing more than finer Pearlite and do not exist in English textbooks for a long, long time. They exist in old textbooks and "old brains" that refuse to "flow with the tide". We do not have this term of 回火索氏体 here in Taiwan, so I am kind of lucky not to have to ponder over its translation. Many young engineers of the English world do not know "Sorbite", only senior engineers do.

回火索氏体翻译应该是 Tempered martensite, 老外那里没有 tempered sorbite 的说法，只有sorbite

Does your appendix picture obviously explain the 回火马氏体 is tempered martensite？
I think you have made a mistake for skimming.
But the question is how to say 回火索氏体 in english.I think the more reasonable explaination should be tempered sorbite.
many articles in metal heat treatment magazine also translate "回火索氏体" into tempered sorbite.

1、关于屈氏体、索氏体问题，赞成您的见解，大陆地区refuse to "flow with the tide"也是事实，并且还将在不短的时间内存在。因此也就不得不面对“回火索氏体”的翻译问题的尴尬。
2、那么“tempered martensite ”到底是什么呢？为什么不能译成“回火组织”呢？

根据GB/T 7232-1999金属热处理工艺术语，没有tempered martensite这个标准用语。

但是这个标准上的索氏体、托氏体的英文表达本质上是珠光体有明确的表示！
